2011 Toyota Sienna

"This van is different than most Siennas. It has a mechanism that causes the car to "kneel" for a wheelchair ramp and the back floor is lowered to allow the person in the chair to have plenty of headroom. But due to these alterations, it has only 2 small seats in the rear, so it's not really family friendly. But it is much easier to load our son than our former 6 full size vans. I'm not impressed with how the car seems to be made of plastic and the the fenders pop out of place easily, but I guess all cars are made lighter these days and my problems with the front end being so low is due to the ramp system, which raises the rear of the car thereby lowering the front. So,basically my review should be taken with a grain of salt. It does gave every option available in 2011, so it us quite comfortable to drive. The ramp system could also be affecting the gas mileage. But 2 recall notices (for which they don't yet have a fix for) in the last 3 weeks are a bit alarming. Only being told the passenger airbag may contain metal shards so don't use the only other full-size seat I have and to turn off the back doors (which don't work at all without it) have me fairly concerned. I've never received a recall notice on any other vehicle I've owned and to get two notices without any type of fix being available has really been an experience."
